2018 GT Grade Alloy Expert Bike

The GT Grade Alloy Expert road bike takes adventure cycling to the next level, with high performance components and a do-it-all attitude.

A bike which knows no bounds. The GT Grade is a high-tech bike designed for low-tech roads, so it’s perfectly at home riding over the Great British potholes. The endurance/sportive road geometry put riders in a comfortable upright position for long distance journeys, and helps you stay in better control of the bike over difficult road surfaces.

With a hydroformed top tube & downtube that are joined together with smooth welds, the GT Grade Alloy has been optimised to maintain rider comfort by reducing road buzz without a loss of performance or lateral rigidity. It also features a tapered head tube, giving the rider great feedback and precise control over the steering.

Fitted with a carbon fibre fork, the GT Grade Alloy Expert takes weight reduction seriously. It also features a race-ready Shimano 105 2x11 speed drivetrain, with an FSA Vero Compact chainset that gives you all the tools you need for long & slow gravel-track climbs, through to high speed & thrilling asphalt chutes.

Blending the best of both worlds, the TRP Hy/Rd semi-hydraulic disc brakes use self-adjusting hydraulic pistons, with a cable-operated mechanism that matches perfectly to the 105 shift levers. The end result is an easy-to-setup brake system that’s both reliable and powerful. For supreme rolling, the WTB Exposure tyres have a shallow tread that works well off road, without slowing you down on road.
