2017 Giant Defy Advanced 3

The Giant Defy Advanced 3 is a smooth-riding endurance road bike that combines speed, confidence and control with a comfortable fatigue reducing ride.

Handcrafted using high performance grade carbon fibres, with a resin formulation that includes vibration damping particles, the frame is stiff where it needs to be, for efficient power transfer and precise handling. The ride is also incredibly smooth thanks to the ultra-thin, flattened seatstays and D-fuse seat seatpost that work to smooth out rough roads. Combined with a slightly more upright endurance geometry this helps to reduce fatigue so that you can stay fresh in the saddle for longer.

Designed specifically for disc brakes the Defy features Shimano hydraulic disc brakes, with 12mm thru-axles front and rear, for confident all-weather braking control. The Shimano Tiagra 2x10 speed drivetrain features a wide range cassette and compact chainset so that you can take on varied terrain with confidence.

From Sportives to epic solo rides you will be able to ride further and faster on the Giant Defy Advanced 3.
