It's hard for bike-addled kids. They see the multitude of full-size bikes, but they're stuck waiting for their growth spurt to occur. Pinarello makes that day come sooner with their Speedy T6 bicycle. It's a full-featured road bike made for the set that lives in short pants. Smaller wheels are key; 24 inches is the diameter.
As the name suggests, the frameset is made of 6061-T6 aluminum tubing, the same aluminum tubing you'll find on high-performance adult racing frames. The difference is the scale. This bike has a 38cm center-to-center seat tube and a 66cm stand over height. The geometry and specs are sized accordingly.
The cransket is 145mm length, with 46/39 rings. They may seem unnecessarily big for you, but remember, the wheels are smaller tan yours, and if you want your offspring keeping up with you, they will need some big rings to make up for the smaller hoops. It's paired up with a 11-26 SRAM cassette and shifted by Shimano 2400 derailleurs and STI levers. The stem is 90mm and clamps on to a MOst ergo kids handlebar 38cm in width.
The Pinarello Speedy is a small bike made for small people with big dreams.
