2016 Aquila Equipe Shimano 11 Speed 5800 Road Bike

The trails that have been blazed by the Equipe-R have been applied to the Equipe. Using the same geometry, tube optimization and SLP technology as the Equipe-R but with the use of slightly more compliant carbon blend of T800H and T700.

The Equipe is tuned to provide a more forgiving ride without trading away much on the performance side of things. The layup of the Equipe increases comfort by using T700H in place of the more rigid T800H in areas affecting comfort, while retaining torsional stiffness with T800H in place of the T1000G found in the Equipe-R for precise handling. The Equipe is sharply dressed, with internal cable routing, 27.2mm seat post to further enhance vertical comfort when riding over secondary roads, and the acceptance of 25mm tires to round off a high dedication to a plush but fast ride.
