2018 Orro Gold STC 8000 Bike

Orro collaborated with British carbon producer, Sigmatex to create their carbon frames, using technologies developed from years in the automotive and aerospace industries. The geometry has a balance between aggressive racing angles and endurance comfort, a versatile shape that caters to a variety of riding scenarios. The super lightweight fork is a monocoque design and full carbon from steerer tube to blades.

The Gold STC features Shimano’s updated Ultegra R8000 groupset, which comes with many of the same technologies from Shimano’s Dura Ace groupset. This includes newly designed brakes that are more powerful and can now take 28c tyres, and a rear derailleur that borrows from Shimano’s MTB experience, using Shadow RD technology. A 52/36T compact chainset matched to an 11-30T cassette offers plenty of gearing options.

The Orro rolls on Fulcrum Racing Quattro wheels with Continental Grand Prix tyres in 25c size. This combination is lightweight and fast rolling. Finishing off the kit are 3T handlebars and stem.
